Progressive Lenses
Progressive lenses are a type of multifocal lens that allow you to see clearly at all distances – near, intermediate, and far – without the visible line of a bifocal. They come in different tiers with higher-quality designs offering wider clear viewing zones, smoother transitions between distances, and less distortion. Because the fit of progressive lenses is very precise, it’s important to be measured and guided by an eye care professional. Proper fitting ensures the lenses match your unique prescription and eye movements, giving you the most comfortable vision possible.
Doublevision/Prism
Double vision is when you see two images of a single object. The images may appear side by side, one on top of the other, or at an angle. It usually happens because the eyes are not working together properly.
The treatment path for double vision usually begins with a comprehensive eye exam to identify the cause. If eye misalignment is the issue, a temporary Fresnel prism may be applied to glasses to test whether shifting the image helps. If successful, the prism can be made permanently into the eyeglass lenses. In some cases, additional treatments such as eye exercises or surgery to realign the eye muscles may be recommended.

- Bifocal Lenses: Bifocals are lenses with two distinct viewing areas to help correct vision that fails at two or even three distances.
